SIMRA Innovation Action - Community participation for forest value and human wellbeing

Описание: Social Innovation Actions in the Horizon 2020 Social Innovation in Marginalised Rural Areas (SIMRA) are grassroots initiatives across Europe and the Mediterranean basin applied to agriculture, forestry, and rural development. Social Innovation Actions aim at creating impacts in the territory and the market, in businesses, and in building capacity within local governments. Since 2017, SIMRA partners and local actors have co-developed and implemented strategic steps to advance those initiatives in rural localities.

This Participatory Video documenting lessons learnt from implementation of Social Innovation Action in Solsonès County, Lleida (Spain). The Innovation Action aims at setting the foundation for a pilot project about forests, social networks and human health, which is being co-developed by the Solsona community; collaborative effort with local primary healthcare providers to incorporate forests into holistic recovery and treatment plans.
