Pretty privilege is real, and for Black women our natural hair can be a major part of that. This video is not about shaming anyone for how they choose to wear their hair. Wigs, weaves, silk presses, braids, I love them all. I actually wear my hair straight most of the time. But I’ve also experienced something different when I wear my hair in its natural state.
