Back in early mid-December 2019, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I flew from Tampa, Florida up to Cleveland, Ohio so I could attempt 4 delicious food challenges around the Toledo and Cleveland, Ohio areas. For challenge #2, I went to Galion, Ohio which is around the midpoint between Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. I helped debut the new "Risk It for the Biscuit" Breakfast Food Challenge at Granny's Kitchen which was so delicious!! I had 40 minutes to finish a giant bowl filled with 1.5lbs of home fries (breakfast potatoes), 5 large made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits split into 10 halves, 10 fried eggs, 7-8 giant ladles of white sausage gravy, and that is all topped off by 1lb of thick-cut bacon. Thanks so much to Terry and Harold the owners and their staff for the wonderful food and hospitality, and thanks to all the amazing people who came up to watch and meet me that early afternoon!! Granny's Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Food Challenge w/ Bacon & Eggs ($20):

– Granny's Kitchen in Galion, Ohio is known for their home-cooked meals made with real food.
– For the base of this challenge, there is 1.5lbs of home fries (breakfast potatoes).
– The 2nd layer features 5 large homemade buttermilk biscuits split into halves.
– There are 7 or 8 ladles of homemade white sausage gravy both under the biscuits and covering them.
– Each biscuit half is topped with an egg cooked to your liking.
– On top of all that sits around 1lb of thick-cut pork bacon.
– There is a 40 minute time limit to finish everything in the bowl.
– Winners receive the $20 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and spot on Granny's Wall of Fame!! Please call ahead if you are interested in trying this challenge so that they can be ready and have a bowl available for you.
