Описание: Whether we have a hole in the ear drum, ear discharge happening one sided or both sides there is no sleeping position as such, contrary to the popular belief that if you sleep on the same side with diseased ear on the lower most you might have more discharge. Actually that does not happen. The discharge happens because of some inflammatory activity or infection happening inside the ear and it is throughout the day. There is no increase or decrease in the discharge amount according to the position. If sleeping position should not make any change. However if you are having an active discharge and especially it is one sided and profused discharge then probably take care to sleep with that ear upper most. But beyond a limit that is not going to matter because once you sleep off you are going to deep sleep your position is not under your conscious control. The only thing that you can take care is not to wet your pillow cover or bed spreads. So you can use some material which is water resistant to cover the pillows and bread spreads. Position during sleep doesn’t matter as far as the ear discharge is concerned.
