Fly Tying: A Must have Streamer pattern the Mini Boogie Man!

Описание: Your five weight can cast this snack sized (2.5") streamer but the real question is can your fly rod handle the hits and fish? This small articulated fly has a unique action that drives trout and bass crazy!

There are a few cool elements of this fly! First are the flank feathers that cover the back. The feathers cup water and force the rear tail to pulse and move in the water like crazy! On this fly, I use merganser feathers because of the unique brown mottling. But you can use any flank feather as long as you re-enforce it, with UV resin, like I do in the video or double it up. The second cool feature is the profile which is bulkier, pushing more water than other similarly sized patterns.

I encourage you to tie these to match the bottom of your favorite stream, yes the bottom as your baitfish will be the same color! Fish them where young of the year trout, suckers and smallmouth hide out. When fishing it, move it in small, quick, pulsing motions and you won't be disappointed!
