As I stand here

I watch these gentle lapping waves

These waves splash playfully

Upon this sandy shore

Underneath my feet

I am enchanted I am mesmerised

I begin to notice

I begin to see

There are hidden messages only for me

I become lost in my thoughts

I return to the present

Before long I feel all sadness disappear

I am filled with love

I am filled with hope

All encompassing

Endless love energy

I look closer

I see shells

I see coral

I see seaweed

I feel my burdens roll off my shoulders

I watch those burdens drift away

Suddenly all fear and disappointment is gone

Breathe in breathe out

This is how it feels to be alive

I take in the breath of the salty air

I breathe out all of my worries

I breathe out all of my pain

My soul is released

Not a single care

I am totally aware

In this moment

Oh these waves they sooth my troubled heart

These waves clear out my cluttered mind

Feelings of refreshment enter deep inside me

I am now light and easy revitalised and free

I am ready

I wander in

I will wander deeper

Into the deep

Deeper and deeper

I will go

This is an impromptu piece of writing. I wrote this poetry for lyrics for a new song. I wrote these lyrics down while I was waiting for this video to load. I have not used any other music or poetry or song as inspiration. I have recorded my own thoughts and experiences only.
