This video demonstrates how I adapted my Metalworking Vice / Vise by adding a simple Plywood Base to make it portable.
I can easily and quickly attach it to different work surfaces by using a couple of clamps.
It holds strong and depending on the surface it is attached to, it can be very sturdy.

to show the way I adapted my Vice. Colin shows a fantastic idea of mounting his Machinist Vise in a Woodworking Vice. He also shows a set of Wooden Jaws of which I am yet to make for my Vice.
