Federal agents say Pretti "brandished" a gun, which led to a federal agent shooting and killing him.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristy Noem said Pretti was "wishing to inflict harm" on the officers and "brandishing" a weapon.
ABC 15 spoke with a worker at the Elite Firearms and Shooting Range in Murrells Inlet. He said brandishing a weapon is not as noticeable as people may think.
