In this video we explain the main benefits and features of the Dertec stainless steel bearing line. The bearing line offers different housings such as 2 Hole FL series, 3 Hole FB series and 4 Hole F-series.

Dertec Signature line ball bearing units are designed to withstand frequent washdowns and can easily be integrated in any hygienic production line.

The housings are engineered to avoid crevices or recesses where dirt and bacteria might accumulate or become trapped.

The housings have no sharp corners and all surfaces are angled. The smooth surface of the housing plays an important role to achieve easy cleanability and drainability.

To reduce the ingress of water and dirt, the stainless steel bearing units of the Dertec Signature series are completely sealed. The standard O-ring and blue hygienic seal provide the best possible protection.

Optionally, the bearings can be supplied with an open or closed cover. The back is milled flat and retains its shape and has no chambers where dirt can accumulate. The housing is supplied with a shaft seal to ensure good protection on the machine shaft.

Dertec Stainless steel Hygienic bearings can be supplied with optional spacers. Using these hygienic spacers the standard bearing housing becomes so called “stand off” bearing housing. The space between the bearing housing and the machine frame ensures easy cleaning and maximum safety.

Stainless steel bearings can be supplied with either carbon steel or stainless steel bearing inserts. The insert bearings are optionally equipped with a grub screw or an eccentric ring. For harsh applications Dertec offers ceramic insert bearings instead of stainless steel bearings.

Dertec Stainless Steel bearing housings can be mounted with Dertec Hygienic stainless steel fasteners, such as bolts, nuts and threaded spindles.
