The most significant point is that such incidents are most commonly reported during Valentine’s Week. In fact, as soon as Valentine’s Week begins, cyber fraudsters become more active. Targeting people looking for love and friendship, fraudsters create fake profiles on dating apps. Through attractive photos, sweet talks, and stories of trust, they first build closeness and then gradually weave a web of fraud.
