“November” is an original instrumental written on the acoustic guitar in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. It was recorded live in one take at my studio outside of Asheville, outdoors, on an Early Spring day in 2014. The song has a vibe of Appalachian style music with original progressions. The guitar has an uncommon open F# tuning. My inspiration for this song was “Inlaw Josie Wales” by Phish. I thought I would drop this one as a break in the action and get an acoustic jam out there. Gettin back to my teenage roots of pickin’ on the six string! 🎸
