Simba was laying down in the nest when Jackie decides to do her nightly tuck in & fixing of the nest. However, Simba was not too happy with her coming close as his squees start to get louder & louder. Jackie is walking around him gingerly- she picks up a stick to move and it sets Simba into screaming mode and he was a temper tantrum jumping across the nest!
At 2:26 Simba jumps forward and grabs Cookie's carcass with his talons and drags it across the nest. He runs to the front branch screaming after Mom and then back to the nest having a full blown hissy fit. Simba picks at Cookie's leg band at 4:21 - picking it up and then stepping on it as if it was another stick to play with on the nest. Then Simba picks up a stick and moves it before heading back to the front limb to perch next to Mom.
A few minutes later the IR comes on and Simba returns to the nest - picks at Cookie's carcass again and then heads back over to the front limb where he preens and falls asleep, tucking his head in. Simba will wake up and head back to the nest at 5:16 and go to sleep. Thank you for watching!
