The Lion Dance, a jewel of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, originated in China and carries thousands of years of civilizational depth.

🦁The Beauty of Diversity: From the majestic power of the Northern Lion to the agile, spirited charm of the Southern Lion (Nanshi), various schools have flourished through history. After spreading through Southeast Asia, this tradition has blossomed across the globe, finding a vibrant home here in Vienna.

🦁The Unity of Lion & Martial Arts: The foundation of every leap lies in Chinese Wushu (Kung Fu). Each movement is an extension of martial aesthetics, embodying the spirit of internal energy and external strength.

Beyond the artistic spectacle, the Lion Dance is an ancient ritual of Blessing for the community.

Making their stunning debut, our Young Lion Squad showcased the heritage of Guangdong’s Suixi "Red & Green" lions. Seeing these young performers leap in the heart of Europe is the truest testament to a culture that remains "everlasting."
