Pokemon Yellow Manga Team Playthrough: vs Blue (Viridian City)

Welcome to the start of my Pokemon Yellow Playthrough - with Yellow from the Pokespe. Manga's team

Here I am battling our Rival Blue for our first match, just west of Viridian City

I am a big fan of the manga & have been reading it for years, & always wanted to do playthroughs with the Manga teams

Recently I finished my Pokemon Playthrough series with Red from the Pokemon Special Manga, so if you're interested in that go check it out

For the team I have - Doduo, Rattata, Omanyte, & Pikachu at the start of the game

I've used Pikachu & Rattata before in the early game countless times so I caught a Doduo & Omanyte

Doduo is Yellow's starter (Rattata is her 1st Pokemon) so it felt fitting & I really wanted to use one

Doduo + Peck is like Peck-Spearow 2x - with good Attack & Speed Doduo will be great

Omanyte while a Water/Rock Type is limited to only Water Gun - which is good if anything

Like with Red's team, I had a Poliwag right at this same fight with Water Gun only & it was good

Omanyte did score a crit Water Gun which was awesome to see

A solid battle for the start of this playthrough, & looking forward to seeing how this team progresses from here
