DESC runs outstanding Sports Development Programmes in rugby, netball, football and swimming. Students selected to be on these programmes receive specialist coaching alongside their normal ECA and team coaching. Students also receive specialist support in strength and conditioning and nutritional advice.
Players from these programmes have represented the College to a high level with some moving on to international sport, professional clubs, academies and scholarships. We are developing further exit pathways in conjunction with a range of partners to enable students to develop from Year 7 to Year 13 and beyond.
