In 1995 and 1996 Subaru released some limited edition WRX models for the JDM and overseas markets - to celebrate early world rally championship victories.

V-Limited (Japan)

555 STI (Japan)

Cars were a dark blue (colour code: 53c)
aka 555 blue, Monte Carlo blue or Prodrive blue.

Depending on model, factory features included: Roof vent, lightweight aluminium components (bonnet, front control arms), DCCD, plated diff, fifth fuel injector on manifold (rally homologation purposes), power steering fluid cooler, Intercooler water spray, closed deck engine block, blueprinted and forged engine internals, STI tuned ECU (SB,Z5,6K etc)
Aircon, ABS and electric doors were deleted on some models to save weight.
A 555 sticker pack/livery was a factory option with many 555 STI model cars featuring this.

Weight of the early RA's was around 1170kg with approx 275-280PS engine power.

Subject car features additional modifications being Dog Box, large Brembo brakes, Speedline wheels, forged engine internals, DCCD, roll cage, tarmac coilover suspension, plated diffs.
