I’m a vet police officer 20 years service live in Buffalo NY Through no fault of my own I’ve recently become homeless I have PTSD & sleep disorder don't use drugs or illegal substances have no criminal record Everything I had was lost overnight due to a series of circumstances and system failures
I’m documenting in real time to show what it’s like to end up with nothing not because of bad choices but because life can change suddenly When my PTSD is triggered it causes anxiety my chest tightens up hard to breath I have speech impediment because it affects the muscles and I slur my words I am diagnosed with Barratts disease it causes nausea vomiting sometimes with blood.
