In this video, I show you an unusual and simple method to run a 12V DC motor directly from 220V AC without using a transformer or switching power supply.
The circuit uses:
A 1.5µF capacitor
A 1MΩ resistor
4 diodes (bridge rectifier)
A 1000µF / 16V electrolytic capacitor
A 12V DC motor
This type of circuit is often used for low-current applications and educational demonstrations.
⚠️ Warning: This project works directly with 220V AC, so it is dangerous. Do NOT touch the circuit while powered and use it only for learning purposes.
