Get the inside scoop on how every Major League Pickleball (MLP) match is structured — from opening rallies to the intense final showdown.
Standard Match Format:
• 4 Games: Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and two Mixed Doubles
• Games to 11, win by 2, with side out scoring
• Teams switch ends at 6 points
• All four games are played, no matter the score
The DreamBreaker:
• If teams are tied 2-2, it all comes down to the DreamBreaker
• A fast-paced, rally-scoring race to 21
• All four players rotate through, taking four rallies each
• Must win by 2 — and only on your serve
