Northern Thailand and Laos Experience, January 2019.
In January 2019 I went to Thailand and Laos with my dear friends Micki Goodman, Susie Hall, and Lauri Mitchell. We were joined by Christine Smethurst from Australia. This video is part of Episode 1 of 2 episodes of our Northern Thailand & Laos Experience, covering the first part of the journey: NORTHERN THAILAND. On Day 10 of our adventure in Thailand we visited Wat Suan Dok, a temple in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. This video is of a presentation given by one of the monks from a monastery 2 1/2 hours away. It is a wonderful description of what it is like to be Buddhist monk since his childhood. Willie discovered that we mis-spelled Moneastery in the video - please overlook that error! Will fix it when we get back from Africa.
