I played Final Fantasy VII for the first time last year. I enjoyed the characters and the story. Going through the journey with Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII was impactful and thrilling. Sephiroth was such a nice villain. I did like the battle system despite not being fond of ATB. Exploring Midgar was fun and it was impressive to realize that there was a larger world to explore.

The Forgotten Capital had such a nice artistic direction. When entering the zone, you knew that something was going on. It was really emotional and well done. The music obviously participated to that feeling. Discovering these huge, surrealistic structures, and this godly music was some great experience. I really liked Aerith's development as well so I tried to insert her theme leitmotiv, slowly fainting, disappearing in the song's loop. This really grew on me and it became something truly personal, intertwined with my own memories.
