Rising from the hill like a carved altar against the storm, Valhalla was constructed as a threshold for those who have endured the world’s quiet battles, its long ascending stairway deliberately uneven so each step demands attention, slowing the body into reflection before the summit is reached. The narrow vertical slits in its facade are aligned to the solstices, allowing thin blades of golden light to pierce the interior at specific hours, illuminating the central chamber where the air carries a faint metallic resonance, as if the walls themselves remember every presence that has stood within them. No names are spoken aloud there; instead, visitors place a hand against the cool concrete, and subtle vibrations pulse beneath the surface, a low harmonic hum shared with The Mourning Hall (OSF-003), where grief is first gathered. Yet where Mourning Hall holds sorrow in stillness, Valhalla reshapes it into resolve, and those who descend its steps often notice the wind has shifted, quieter somehow, as though even the storm acknowledges their passage.
