Swapping Two 20,000 lb Chillers from the 18th Floor | Liebherr LTM 1650 in Downtown Dallas

Описание: We replaced two 20,000 lb chiller units on the 18th floor of a building in downtown Dallas with extremely limited space to set up.

The existing units were skated to a side window using machinery skates and a come along. As each chiller reached the opening, we hooked on with our Liebherr LTM 1650 configured with Y-guy and 115 feet of luffer and lowered them safely to the ground.

After removal, the two new chillers were sent up and skated back into place using the same controlled method.

With limited space and 18 stories of air under the hook, this lift relied on clear communication and synchronized movement between the interior crew and the crane operator from start to finish.
