🌊 BIG WATER RAFTING HIGHLIGHTS 2025 | HIGH WATER AHEAD 🌊
The High Water Ahead team delivers its biggest year yet in this 2025 whitewater rafting highlight reel, showcasing elite-level rafting on some of the steepest, most technical, and rarely run rivers in the United States. From high-gradient creeks to waterfall drops and confined canyon runs, this season pushed limits and expanded the team's river log significantly.
🔥 2025 Highlights Include:
South Fork of Silver Creek – California
Ginger Jeff Wahler’s descent of the South Fork of Silver Creek above Icehouse stands out as one of the boldest rafting accomplishments of the year. With an average gradient of 591 feet per mile, this run features sustained steep whitewater, stacked drops, and complex boat placement rarely attempted in a raft. Jeff’s clean lines through legendary rapids—including Skyscraper—mark a major milestone in high-gradient creek rafting.
Pitt River – California | 35’ Pitt Falls
Jeff also adds a landmark descent of 35-foot Pitt Falls, combining precision, commitment, and control on a true waterfall drop. This run highlights advanced raft handling and the evolving potential of modern whitewater rafting on extreme terrain.
Green Truss – White Salmon River, Washington
Blake Higman and Nate Simms tackle the iconic Green Truss section of the White Salmon, a technically demanding run defined by waterfalls, steep drops, and a tight, bedrock canyon. Known for its continuous nature and limited recovery zones, Green Truss requires expert-level line selection, timing, and teamwork—skills fully on display in this descent.
North Fork Payette – Idaho (Upper Reaches)
Nate and Nila venture into the upper reaches of the North Fork Payette, exploring fast, technical whitewater that blends steep gradients with dynamic flows. These rarely rafted sections showcase exploratory rafting, clean execution, and a deep understanding of complex river dynamics.
⚡ Pushing the Limits of Modern Rafting ⚡
In 2025, High Water Ahead expanded into new terrain, tackled higher consequences, and continued redefining what’s possible for the team with a raft on steep creeks and waterfall runs across the USA. This video captures the progression, precision, and commitment behind the year’s biggest moments.
