Описание: The San Francisco Ferry building has endured many ups and downs. It had a huge heyday in the early 1900’s — supporting approximately 50,000 people each day. In the mid-1900’s, ridership plummeted as commuters drove themselves around instead of taking a ferry. After the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 it had a shot of adrenaline, helping revitalize the waterfront and fighting modern-day traffic.
