This talk is in PLUG's Desktop Security Series that is a short talk presented every month. The talks are targeted towards the beginner as cover common security issues and best practices for the Linux desktop user.
This talk covers common issues with being tracked by 3rd parties while using a web browser, and methods to minimize the amount of tracking being done. Items covered include Cookies, Metadata, AddThis, Do Not Track, and more.
