Another minstrel tune, like “Watermelon Hangin’ On The Vine,” in the Monroe Brothers’ style. “Have A Feast Here Tonight”, “Feast Here Tonight”, or “Rabbit In A Log,” would become a bluegrass standard and be covered by artists such as The Stanley Brothers and Flatt and Scruggs. Bill Monroe would even perform the song again with Doc Watson, with Watson taking Charlie’s part on guitar.
