Input devices (for data input)
Output devices (to transmit data and information)
Processing equipment (to process data instructions into information)
Storage devices (to store data and information)

Input devices are used to feed, information to the computer.
Example: Keyboard, mouse, scanner, digital camera, etc.

Output devices, outputs the information through a monitor or printer or speaker etc.
CPU, directs the actions of input, control and output devices. It is a rectangular box. It is also called as system unit.
A microprocessor is a chip, that controls all the functions of a computer system. It is installed in the motherboard. It works like an artificial brain. All mathematical and logical operations are done by it.
Motherboard is the most essential part of the computer system. It connects all the parts of the computer together.
Memory and storage devices are used to store the information and to use the information in future

Primary memory
Secondary memory
Example: RAM, ROM, Hard Disk, Floppy Disk, CD/DVD-ROM, Pen Drive, etc.

SMPS is an electrical-electronic component. It provides DC output power to the motherboard and other components of the computer system. SMPS takes AC mains input, and outputs, DC 3.3 volts to 12 volts.

Computer understands machine language; that can’t be understandable by human.
Computer recognizes values in the forms of 0s or 1s.
Accuracy, repetitive task and tirelessness work.
