This is a very nice short/medium length hike, rated as moderate. The advantage of this hike is that there are no dirt roads or logging roads required to reach the trailhead. One downside is that you tend to hear the Interstate 90 traffic noise plus airplane traffic to and from SeaTac airport.
The day I went was sunny and about 66 degrees and not very busy. I saw quite a few wildflowers in bloom and enjoyed the several spots with views out over the valley.
For a longer hike you can continue past the Balcony up to Dirty Harry’s Peak.
