To manage these threats requires security professionals who are comfortable managing risk across both legacy and smart technologies to create security programs that allow innovation safely amid the chaos.Pre-Requisites: General knowledge on the rise of smart cities, various new smart projects and technologies and how these initiatives are supposed to serve their citizens and enable them to be more engaged with their government and the community, including converged infrastructures and the risks these new ecosystems pose to cities. Some knowledge on the roles of a CISO and how they would approach managing traditional enterprise risk and how risk management on this scale will require efforts that are not in traditional risk management frameworks.
