16 Creeks is a popular trail among the off road community in Kentucky. It is located West of Middlesboro, KY. The trail offers several water crossings with some rocks that stick out and could become an issue for vehicles with no skid plates. Overall, 16 Creeks is an easy trail where stock vehicles can drive with minimum issues.
I was informed before doing this trail that stock Renegades could do it with no issues but I highly recommend doing it with skid plates and a/t tires. Some rocks are pretty big and they could damage the under carriage, specially the rear differential and the engine area. I hit a couple of rocks due to the creek's water depth and I was not able to see them when crossing the water. My skid plates are the best investment I have installed on my renegade, they are worth every penny.
Keep in mind that you always drive at your own risk and always bring friends to help you in case you run into issues.
