In this unboxing, we will look at Rackham Tarot from Lo Scarabeo. This is an unusual type of tarot deck in that it was done as a collaboration. The images were collected and edited by Pietro Alligo and Lunaea Weatherstone wrote the guide book.

The images of Arthur Rackham fit extremely well with the associations of the tarot. Weatherstone wrote a new set of unique meanings for each image. The result is an uncanny depiction of the tarot brought out of the past.

Rackham and his illustrations are from the golden age of illustration. This is a period of time in the late 19th and early 20th century where technology and skill advanced to a point of becoming a perfect storm. Incredible illustrations were made and easily disseminated due to the advancements of printing technology.
