As part of a series regarding passing ministry onto the next generation (The Timothy Series), Rev. K. Edward Copeland focused on the scripturally mandated "Ministry Fundamentals" that are essential for the spiritual progress of a modern day Timothy. Special attention was paid to both 1 Timothy 4 and 2 Timothy 4.

K. Edward Copeland (DMin Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; JD University of California-Berkeley) currently serves as pastor of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He has been a lecturer for the National Baptist Convention of America, USA Inc., National Baptist Convention of America, Inc., Church of God in Christ, Inc. (Illinois Fifth Jurisdiction West), as well as district associations, conventions, and conferences throughout the nation and across denominational lines.

The Henry Center for Theological Understanding provides theological resources that help bridge the gap between the academy and the church. It houses a cluster of initiatives, each of which is aimed at applying practical Christian wisdom to important kingdom issues—for the good of the church, for the soul of the theological academy, for the sake of the world, and ultimately for the glory of God.
