This election will determine the representatives for AISD Place 6 and Place 7. The School Board election determines the community leaders responsible for overseeing the local public school district. School Board members set district policies, approve budgets, hire and evaluate the superintendent, and help guide decisions that affect students, teachers, and families across the district.
