In this video, Dr Craig Buscomb (Elevate Chiropractic, in Greenhithe NZ) explains how tongue posture can affect the neck, and how a simple cue can instantly change how supported your neck feels.
Try this yourself
1. Lie down and lift your head normally
2. Then press your tongue to the roof of your mouth and repeat
3. Notice how much easier and more supported your neck feels
This simple cue can help:
• Improve neck stability
• Reduce strain and tension
• Support better posture
• Assist rehabilitation (especially after neck pain or whiplash)
