How to Build A Monotub for Full Flushes

Monotubs are one of the most popular methods of growing certain species of mushrooms at home. Mycologists have been using them to regulate FAE(fresh air exchange) and humidity to create the perfect climate to form pins for decades. Monotubs work by allowing the heavy CO2 that the mushrooms produce to be removed due to gravity and replaced with fresh o2 rich air while maintaining high humidity.

(Note for winter months) If you live in a climate that gets dry in the winter it is advised to keep a humidifier in the room that your monotub is in, you want to keep rh around 40-70% in the room. If you cant maintain that, it is possible to put solid tape like duct or masking tape over the holes during colonization time to keep humidity in.
