During the shooting of English Medium, Irrfan Khan’s health was continuously deteriorating. He suffered from extreme weakness, pain, weight loss, and cold sensitivity, yet his dedication to acting never faded. Many shoots were postponed due to his condition, but Irrfan always tried his best to be on set.
Diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018, Irrfan underwent treatment in London. Despite intense pain, his love for cinema kept him going until the very end.
