Juan Bolsa Was Betraying Eladio

Описание: Throughout Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, Juan Bolsa secretly tries taking over the cartel. To minimize the Salamancas’ role in distribution, we see him support Gus Fring's business strategy over the Salamanca method of gang territory. With Hector incapacitated and Tuco in prison, Bolsa sends goons to prevent Saul from delivering Lalo’s bail money to cripple the Salamancas permanently. He does this without telling Eladio, knowing how much Eladio likes Lalo. In Something Beautiful, Bolsa even tells Gus to ignore Eladio’s orders by secretly trying to find a supplier north of the border. Juan knows Gus’s past hatred will allow him to silo his favor away from the rest. By Breaking Bad, while Juan no longer needs Salamanca distribution, Gus no longer needs a cartel supplier. This would explain why Gus assailants and the federales go to Bolsa first instead of Eladio (or the other cartel leaders). This is also why Gus sees Walt’s revolution coming and is immediately looking for alternates like Gale and Jesse. Thanks for watching.
