Masjid Sheikh Ijlin, South West of Gaza City, was founded in 1957, then upgraded in 1995, to accomodate 1,000 worshippers
The Masjid contained :
1- Ground, mezzanine and Two floors
2- Male & Female praying area
3- Holy Quran center
4- Primary health care center
The Masjid was bombed by the zionist occupation warplanes during the 2014 aggression on Gaza
Preventing thousands of Palestinians from performing their prayers (Solat) at the Masjid
The Masjid has been an empty place, and waiting for donors to rebuild it for long time
Palestinian citizens in the area performed their prayers at a Temporary Masjid (Surau) under difficult conditions in summer and winter
Until November 2018, when AMAN PALESTIN announced and pledged to Rebuild the Masjid
Donations and Designs of the Masjid are fully from Indonesia
Masjid Sheikh Ijlin will be the first Masjid to be built and designed by Indonesia
