Chicken House Renovations and the Outdoor Tomatoes are DOOMED || Plot 37 (Episode 70)

Описание: This week on the allotment i've been cracking on with renovating the chicken house, its coming together slowly. The main structure of the cage is pretty much fixed up now - I've bolstered all the struts and filled in the mesh holes from where i removed the old nesting box.

I am also repairing and painting the little hen house that sits within the big cage. Doing it up and repainting it.
There is lots of picking of the tomatoes in the polytunnel and slowly things are catching up although we are very behind where we were last year still. The outdoor tomatoes on the the other hand, are doomed. They have blight, or Didymella or some other similar fungus that means i will have to give up on them and rip them out. I can only hope it doesn't spread to the ones inside the poly! Just got to think what to do with the green tomatoes now!
I also have a nice bit of luck using my old bed base as two new netting frames for the raised beds. They fit like a dream!
And finally i am drying calendula flowers to make calendula tea and a facial oil! Wish me luck!
