Hip Crossover Stretch: up to 2 minutes/side

In this video you'll see the tutorial for the Hip Crossover Stretch. This exercise helps reduce rotation, and dynamic tension/muscle balance discrepancy throughout the kinetic chain from the feet/ankles up to the hips through shoulders, neck and head.
By applying a load demand at the hips and taking the hips, pelvis, and torso through balanced external rotation this exercise assists in helping re-position and engage the correct hip, pelvic and spinal muscles and their ideal functional response to the demand. It also helps promote proper lumbo-pelvic stability, and flexion/extension of the thoracic cage.
Remember that this is a generic series of corrective exercises, and as with any generic model, may be perfect or not right for you. Do not work through old painful symptoms, only muscular discomfort that is new, muscular in nature and unfamiliar.
