I flew my FPV drone inside the Morteratsch Glacier in Switzerland, through narrow ice cracks, under the glacier, and into hidden ice caves.
Most of the footage you have seen from this glacier is from the outside. This time, I went beneath the surface. Tight spaces, no GPS, dripping meltwater, and constantly changing ice structures made every second challenging.
The Morteratsch Glacier is melting rapidly, and many of these formations may not exist in a few years. These images capture a moment inside a landscape that is disappearing.
