As always, something goes wrong trying to make a long form video! I forgot to record the direct signal in my DAW for this video, but the audio from my DJI mic will have to do. I finally built a small board centered around the Tone King Imperial Preamp and the Line 6 HX Stomp. In the group that I’ve been jamming with, we play what I’d call modern southern rock, Whiskey Myers, BlackBerry Smoke, etc. and in this video I’m going over this direct rig and some of the tones I’ve been able to get out of it. The audio isn’t great, but at least it gives a real “in the room” sound playing through my PA.
