he Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the exile Tibetan government, offered a long-life prayer (Tenshug) to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, the revered spiritual leader of Tibet, on behalf of Tibetans both inside and outside Tibet. The ceremony took place at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamshala. It was attended by CTA President Penpa Tsering, members of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and officials of the Tibetan government in exile.
Also in attendance were Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, and Member of Parliament Tapir Gao, representing the Lower House. Members of the Tibetan community and followers of the Dalai Lama also gathered in large numbers to express their deep devotion and offer prayers for His Holiness’s continued health and long life.
