Join me for a point-of-view (POV) ride along from Lalor Park to Blacktown! This was filmed using the new GoPro Hero 13 mounted on my Workcycles Fr8.
🚲 The Route & The Struggle: While the ride is mostly smooth, watch out for the intersection at Third Avenue and Sunnyholt Road. When I rewatched the footage, I realised I spent a full 2 minutes just waiting there.
While cars can simply follow the traffic light phasing to drive straight through, as a cyclist trying to get onto the Third Avenue shared path, I have to cross two individual sides of the intersection separately. It’s a frustrating delay waiting for the crossing lights to cycle through just to continue moving straight!
