Mackay | Everyone told us to skip it… we’re glad we didn’t!

Описание: While Mackay was primarily a stop to work and top up the bank account, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. This was a place many told us to skip… but we’re so glad we didn’t!

Leaving Finch Hatton behind, our next stop was Mackay — and it was time for:

🚙 A much-needed car wash
🦟 Mozzie mayhem (with Ryan the Mozzie Killer in full force!)
🍻 Drinks and dinner at a local brewery and steakhouse
🔧 A few van maintenance jobs, including finally figuring out why the washing machine wasn’t working
🤝 Catching up with fellow travellers
🌴 Exploring Seaforth, Smalleys Beach & Cape Hillsborough
🌅 Relaxed walks along the Marina and breakwater — the perfect way to start the morning
It might have been a slower few weeks, but it was full of good company, great beaches, and a few laughs along the way. Thanks for the good times, Mackay!
