Описание: In our ongoing comprehensive study of various kinds of adverbs, it’s time for Adverbs of Time, which are associated with the question word WHEN. Some most commonly used Adverbs of Time are today, tomorrow, yesterday, tonight, hourly, nightly, daily (every day), weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, annually/yearly, already, recently, lately, now, then, previously, ago, before, since, still, till, yet, early, soon, late, first, last, next, finally, eventually, just, long, no longer/not any longer, etc. In this lesson, we will learn about various kinds of adverbs of time and understand how these primarily answer three questions for us:
1. When does an action or event happen?
2. For how long does it happen?
3. How often does it happen?
It’s a comprehensive lesson, focusing on going beyond the classroom teaching and covering questions related to Adverbs of Place which might have troubled you for long. After watching the lesson, if you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to raise them. I will try my best to have your doubts removed.
Adverbs are one of the most important parts of speech in grammar. Without them we may not be able to tell when, where, how, how much, how long, or how often some action or event happened/has happened/will happen. It’s important to master them because they are not limited to modifying verbs, but also adjectives, other adverbs, phrases, or even entire sentences.
Going by abovementioned information, adverbs may appear a difficult subject to understand. But fret not, mastering adverb is as easy as a walk in the park, provided you are ready to study them systematically and comprehensively. If you are determined and patient to put in efforts to understand this part of speech threadbare, I am ready to take you through this incredible journey in an entertaining, lively and functional manner.
