Описание: Very sad to read the passing of the composer Patrick Williams yesterday. It's poignant for me because I only came across his music a few weeks ago, through his television scoring for Molly Dodd, Slap Maxwell and the like. I was on the train listening to this, his Pulitzer Prize-nominated work for jazz band and orchestra, An American Concerto, when I read that he died due to complications from cancer.

An American Concerto IS available for purchase on iTunes, but only from the US store. If you enjoy his music and want to support his memory then I recommend buying it. These vinyl rips I'm uploading to YouTube are being uploaded so more people can experience his music.
