Well two years ago my mate Chris and I decided to book a fishing holiday and we both had to destinations on our bucket list, Thailand and Canada. We finally decided that Canada and the mighty Sturgeon would have to wait, but with lots of destinations available to the angler, which one would we choose?

Heading to The Big One two years ago we approached both Gilhams and Jurassic, but after a brief interview with Gilhams and feeling, somewhat like we were being sold double glazing due to the numerous show discounts, finally decided on Jurassic, simply because we felt far more comfortable with how everything was explained by Martin and Jo.

The day finally arrived and we finally touched down after nigh on a 12hr flight in Bangkok. Transfer to the resort went smoothly, although I was somewhat on edge with the standard of driving by the locals, but once inside the resort it was time to wind down and enjoy our place of paradise for the next ten days.

Alan Blair's videos on Jurassic were created after we had booked, and after watching a number of times, we really did wonder if the fishing was going to be as spectacular or was it hyped up somewhat? To everyone watching, it wasn't hyped up, the fishing is as spectacular for all those that decide to go, however effort does equal rewards and if you are prepared to work the water, fish most can only dream of are there to be caught.
