Railway in Dawlish station is damaged after Storm Emma flood - Daily Mail

Описание: All trains heading in and out of Plymouth have been suspended this morning after gale force winds have caused high waves to crash into the Dawlish sea wall. Dramatic footage shows waves wracking the barriers and main train track in Plymouth as high tides and winds from the storm Emma batter the coast line. The area has been 'cut off' as trains between Exeter and Newton Abbot have been cancelled due to the damage to the main railway line caused by Storm Emma. The easterly winds from the storm are expected to carry on until Saturday leaving thousands of people unable to travel from Plymouth causing it to be 'completely cut off from the outside world'. Plymouth Railway station has confirmed that all trains heading north out of Plymouth have been suspended until further notice after high waves and rubble was reported to have caused damage to the line.
